This was my last session of 2015. It fell between Christmas and New Years and it was an amazing end to an amazing year for SGP.
When I first arrive to a session, I always ask new clients how they heard about me. The vast majority of the time the answer is, “through friends”. Word of mouth is so strong and I absolutely love that most of my new clients come via referrals from friends. However, when I asked this mom how she heard about me, her answer was, “I found you on Instagram”. Um, fantastic! Good to know that social media and all those hashtags work from time-to-time:) Seriously though, these darling clients were a perfect fit. I love that in a world with a zillion photographers, they took the time to really find someone who fit their taste and style (and that they chose me!).
I say this all the time and I am sure I will say it again but seriously, photography is such an investment! It is SO important to find someone who truly offers what you want and is both experienced and reliable. Please don’t just use who your friends use because it is easy. Photography is personal. It is emotional. And it makes a huge difference to find someone that is right for YOUR family.
Anyways, this session was a dream. Hilarious parents. Gorgeous nursery. Delicious baby. Silly puppies. All the pieces were in place for an amazing session. This was definitely one of those times where I had to force myself to stop shooting because I could have just kept going and going:)
