This session is so special to me. Mom is a sweet friend and fellow photographer. She found out she was expecting her third just a couple months after we found out the same. We went through our pregnancies together, often comparing notes on survival.
When she asked me if I would plan to shoot her First 48 session I gave her a resounding, Yes! All First 28 sessions are meaningful. They are all emotional. But when I know the family I am shooting…When I already have a connection to them…When they are more than a client…Those sessions are the best.
Baby girl arrived exactly 3 months to the day after my little man. I went up to the hospital 24 hours after she was born. She was not too keen on having her session done and definitely let us know that she was in charge! In the end, she was happy as long as she was snuggled which was completely fine with me. I wasn’t able to capture any crib shots or solo shots of this sweet pea…good thing mom is a photographer. Ha! Regardless, the session was a dream. The big sisters are so in love with the newest addition and mom is just as stunning as always.
